in Half Moon Bay –
Misty mornings,
and foggy afternoons.
Ancient redwood forests
dripping with moss and rain.
Rooms, bars, and restaurants –
All with the same scenic view...
grey on grey.
Shapeless ships
bellow hopelessly
concealed by the empty nothingness –
Dense and heavy,
into the shrouded night.
