the rapture of a place all our own.
Free to be just you and me,
in love’s eternal mystery,
of romance often hoped for,
yet very seldom known.

We fell onto the green
banks of the river,
like falling in love
for the very first time.
We were young again,
long lost lovers and friends,
our hearts overflowing
with poetry and wine.

And on this night we knew God’s blessing,
of having fairy tales come true.
