the style of defense or attack.
A warrior may choose
to pursue or disengage.
But warriors
have no choice
over the matter
of their own death.
Death chooses the warrior.
Therefore,
wise warriors pay no attention
to what is beyond their control –
Whether engaged in combat,
or engaged in life.
