Restless spirits go calling,
seeking release from their tortured existence –
Justice? Vengeance? Candy...
Trick-or-treat!

Freshly carved pumpkins peering through windows,
with fiery eyes and flickering grins –
warding off evil ghosts and goblins...
witches and black cats!

Vampire bats casting creepy black shadows,
winging across the night’s full harvest moon –
dark spooky castles in dense heavy fog... 
crucifix and garlic!

Scary ghost stories and old horror films;
nightmares, haunted houses, and graveyards –
deep latex gashes dripping fresh phony blood...
my God, it’s alive!
