There are times in this world
I find myself questioning all that I know.

Is there a Hell or a Heaven?
Where will my essence finally go?
What is my purpose?
Why am I here?
Have I completed my mission?
Did I conquer my fear?

As Reality shreds the soul from the bone,
we face our questions each alone.
Self-awareness cuts deep as a knife,
when the Shadow of Death casts over our life.

In the End we must face ourselves and ask…

What is our debt –
how much do we owe?
Half the battle is in the finding,
the other half is in not wanting to know.
