The Grapes of Wrath have never looked lovelier.
Winding down rolling hills and undulating valleys –
through infinite fields of Paradise,
just East of Eden.
A forgotten time, still continued…
Aching workers toiling endlessly
under the arduous summer sun –
Soothed with the soft brush of sunset,
painting God’s Presence and our reassurance.
or America’s Nightmare?
It is picturesque and beautiful...
Vast expansive land as far as the eye can see –
Drudgery for some, indulgence for others.
"An afternoon saunter down Central Street,
or evening stroll along Cannery Row –
Echoing the footsteps of an American Master,
when again I am struck by the obvious:
Things really don’t change that much."
