Enveloping and encapsulating
the City of LA… 

A tinderbox of welcome;
for a voracious appetite –
satiated only by its never ending
indulgence for complete obliteration.
Consuming everything in its path,
while simultaneously creating new paths
of potential consumption.  

An apocalyptic vision of hell 
raging through the City of Angels –      
A new skyline framed in the rubble   
of burnt toothpicks and smoldering ashes,
seething reminders so it always remembers:

A week of flaming hills and homes,
now only blazing orange memories;
the American Dream forever lost
in a burning nightmare... 
of wind and embers.
