openly revealed,
and we sneeze,
quite displeased,
with the boredom of it all.

The promise of the future
burgeoning before us,
yet we play,
all the day,
squandering noble expectations.

The sacrifice of mentors
utterly forgotten,
as we bask,
in a mask,
of superior desperation.

And when it's gone,
and when it's over;
our complete disintegration –
We may be remembered
as the weakest generation.
